Welcome to NCCL's Certificate in the Practice of Catechesis with All Ages. 

The Practice of Catechesis Certificate is an applied education program, designed to help leaders in catechetical ministry develop and implement vibrant and engaging faith formation with age groups across the life span, with families, and with all generations together. 

The Practice of Catechesis Certificate is an online formation program consisting of five courses and a retreat experience. 

Live teaching sessions for Cohort 13 will take place on Wednesday Mornings (every 2 weeks) from 10am-12pm ET, beginning in October 2026.
No sessions in July or December. Participants may miss up to 2 live sessions, to be completed via recording.

  October 7 & 21, November 4 & 18, 2026
• Course 2. Designing Catechesis for Families and Age Groups
  January 6 & 20, February 3 & 17, 2027
• Course 3. Leadership Practices for Catechetical Ministry
  March 3 & 17, April 7 & 21, 2027
• Course 4. Leadership Skills for Catechetical Ministry
  May 5 & 19, June 2 & 16, 2027
• Course 5. Designing Educational Programs for Families and Age Groups
  August 4 & 18, September 1 & 15, 2027
• Retreat: The Spiritual Life of the Catechetical Leader
  10am - 3pm ET, Saturday October 20, 2027

This payment completes the total cost for your enrollment in the Certificate Program. Books must be purchased separately.
