Catechetical Coordinator
St. Clare of Assisi, Surprise, AZ
St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Surprise, AZ, is a vibrant and welcoming Catholic community dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and education. The parish is dedicated to evangelization and in forming Intentional Disciples to share the Gospel. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Catechetical Coordinator to join our team and help guide our Children’s Family Faith Formation program. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Director of Evangelization.
The Catechetical Coordinator will manage the implementation of catechetical programs for children ages K through Grade 5; and middle school or high school students who are out of sequence for receiving the Sacraments. This role requires collaboration with the Director of Evangelization, parish staff, volunteers, and families to ensure effective faith formation and compliance within diocesan guidelines. This role is full time and will require an individual to be onsite during the Wednesday evening sessions (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm) and periodically supporting weekend catechetical activities and recruitment of volunteers.

Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation
St. Charles Borromeo, Montgomery Township, NJ
The Catholic Community of St. Charles Borromeo, in the Diocese of Metuchen, NJ, is currently seeking a Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation.
The GIFT program (Growing In Faith Together) provides faith formation, catechetical instruction and sacramental preparation for children and families. The Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation coordinates the preparation and instruction for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation, and creates and coordinates a dynamic family faith formation for children from first through eighth grade.
The Pastoral Assistant also coordinates programs periodically needed for young people with special needs, as well as those in need of a catechumenal model for the. Sacraments of Initiation.
Additionally, the Pastoral Assistant works together with the Pastoral Team, meeting at least twice a month to assess parish life and to plan and coordinate parish observances, such as Lent and Advent.

Director of Religious Education
St. Gerard Majella, Archdiocese of St. Louis, MO
St. Gerard Majella Parish, in Kirkwood, MO, seeks to bring the fullness of the Gospel to its members and community, collaborating with the Holy Spirit, to foster faith in Jesus Christ. To that end, the Director of Religious Education (DRE) is responsible for working with the pastor to oversee the religious education and formation programs at St. Gerard Majella Parish and School, as well as to organize and oversee the preparation for and celebration of the Sacraments for the children of the parish.
The DRE will develop and implement a curriculum in the school that aligns with Catholic teaching, and will work to equip teachers to implement that curriculum. Likewise, the DRE will work with the pastor to oversee the Parish School of Religion (PSR) program to provide meaningful religious education for children within the parish. The Director will develop and implement a curriculum in the PSR program that aligns with Catholic teaching, and will recruit and train volunteer catechists to help implement that curriculum.
