Liturgical Coordinator
St. Pius X Parish, Billings, MT
St. Pius X Parish in Billings, MT, is looking for a dynamic disciple of Jesus Christ to fill the position of Liturgy Coordinator. The Liturgical Coordinator is a full-time position charged with organizing and scheduling weekday and weekend Masses, as well as Holy Day and special celebrations. The Liturgy Coordinator will meet with families to plan funerals. To fulfill their responsibilities, the coordinator collaborates with the Pastor and other staff members for special liturgies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Active member of a Roman Catholic faith community. The candidate should be familiar with Catholic teaching, liturgy, scripture, spirituality, and social ethics. The candidate should have excellent computer skills. A willingness to learn the basics of the church sound system is needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Partners with Pastor, worship commission, and other members of the staff to help provide quality liturgical celebrations and sacramental services.
- Works in conjunction with leaders of the different liturgical ministries to train and mentor others as, for example, sacristans, Eucharistic ministers, or altar servers.
- Designs and arranges production of worship aids for the Remembrance Mass and the Advent penance service.
- Prepares worship space and maintains inventory of liturgical supplies.
- Schedules and coordinates non-assigned clergy for the Advent penance service, Pastor’s vacation, and assists visiting clergy.
- Participates in pastoral team meetings.
- Acts as staff liaison to Worship Commission. Available to help with ideas for meeting agenda items. Helps with environment changes.
- Prepares intercessions.
- Other duties as assigned by the Pastor.

Associate Director of Adult Spirituality and Family Life

The Associate Director of Adult Spirituality and Family Life is an integral member of the pastoral leadership team responsible for promoting and supporting the spiritual growth and well-being of young adults, adults, couples, and families within the Diocese. The Associate Director will primarily focus on the Diocese of San Jose Pastoral Plan implementation in two areas: young adult ministry, and creating opportunities for prayer and encounter. He/she will also contribute to the overall support of adult spirituality and family life ministries. This position requires a deep understanding of Catholic teachings and the ability to engage with diverse individuals and groups effectively.
This position is a full-time, exempt position. This is a project-based position focused on Diocese of San Jose Pastoral Planning which is anticipated to go on for a time frame of two years. The need to continue the position will be evaluated by leadership in the next 24 months.
The incumbent reports to the Director of Adult Spirituality and Family Life.

Director of Faith Formation
Fiskdale (Sturbridge), MA
St. Anne St. Patrick Parish in Fiskdale (Sturbridge), MA is seeking a Director of Faith Formation.
This is a full-time position which can include weekends and evenings. The program provides faith formation, catechetical instruction, and sacramental preparation for children, teens and adults, in conjunction with the pastor. The Director is responsible for the recruiting and ongoing training of volunteer catechists. The Director will coordinate the preparation and instruction for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. The Director will develop a Youth Ministry program to engage middle-school and high school students which can include activities such as mission trips, service opportunities and retreats. The Director will develop a program for the on-going faith formation of adult members of the parish community.
Job requirements
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Prior experience in faith formation/religious education is required. The Director must have both strong organizational and communication skills.
