Part-Time Pastoral Minister for Young Adults

Paulist Center, Boston, MA

The Paulist Center is an intentional community in the Roman Catholic tradition. We are an inclusive community dedicated to vibrant worship and social justice ministry. We value full and active participation of all in the worship community and its ministries. Members of the community travel to our downtown location from towns and cities across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

The Young Adult community (21-39 years old) strives to be welcoming to all at the Paulist Center. This group seeks to live out its faith through community, service, and spirituality, offering a number of social, service-oriented, and faith-building events, including: monthly dinners after the Sunday 6pm Mass; happy hours in neighborhoods throughout Boston; small-group and discussion panels on faith and spirituality.

The Young Adult Minister is supervised by the Executive Director and collaborates with the Director of Outreach & Evangelization, as the Paulist Center focuses on relationship-building with a new generation of young adults. The Young Adult Minister will take the lead in designing and implementing a ministry plan, working with the pastoral team.

Estimate of Time/Week: ~20 hours flexible, in-person
Compensation: $30-35/hour

Director of Youth Discipleship

Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Knoxville, TN

The Director of Youth Discipleship Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, and leading Sacred Heart Cathedral’s Youth Discipleship faith formation program. Under the supervision of the Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, the Director will oversee the Sunday evening faith formation program for high school teens and coordinate various high school discipleship small groups throughout the week. The Director will also implement and oversee the Confirmation program with an emphasis on lifelong faith formation and discipleship. In addition, the Director will develop the faith formation program for middle-school students that will provide a seamless transition into the high-school Youth Discipleship program.

Adult Faith Formation Consultant

Diocese of Cleveland, OH

The Diocese of Cleveland is excited to welcome an Adult Faith Formation Consultant. This position will help strengthen and expand our work of forming missionary disciples through lifelong faith formation, with a particular focus on growth and maturity in life in the Holy Spirit.

The Adult Faith Formation Consultant supports the Diocese's mission to foster lifelong faith formation among adults. This position serves as a diocesan resource for pastors, parish staff, and pastoral ministry leaders by providing consultation, training, resources, and strategic support for adult faith formation initiatives.

As a member of the Lifelong Faith Formation Team, the Consultant develops, promotes, and supports opportunities that deepen adult discipleship, strengthen catechetical formation, encourage ongoing conversion, and support parish vitality. The Consultant also assists parishes in assessing needs, implementing effective formation models, and creating environments that help adults grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and actively participate in the life and mission of the Church.

The ideal candidate will bring a missionary zeal for the Church's mission of evangelization, inspiring others to deepen their relationship with Christ and embrace their call to discipleship.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,000

Director of Programs and Operations

The Director of Programs and Operations is responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of The Communion Project. The Program Director serves as the operational backbone of the project, working closely with the Communications Manager and the Directors.

This full time role is in-person/hybrid. Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 + benefits.

Director of Faith Formation & Sacramental Preparation

Good Shepherd, Shawnee, KS

Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Shawnee, KS is seeking a Director of Faith Formation & Sacramental Preparation.

This Director must be a practicing Catholic, in good standing with the Church. He or she is a person of prayer, committed to the authentic teaching of the Catholic faith. Additionally the Director must be bilingual, fluent in English Spanish, possess the skills to write, speak, and translate both languages, and be able to run a bilingual program.

The Director will report to the Parish Manager, will work with other staff members to foster and maintain a working environment where worship, prayer, hospitality and learning are the primary motivators. The Director is a professional catechetical leader who assists adolescents and children of the parish in their faith formation.

Youth Minister/Coordinator

Immaculate Heart of Mary, High Point, NC

Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church is seeking a faithful, energetic, and organized individual to serve as Youth Minister. This position supports the spiritual formation and active participation of parish youth through Catholic faith formation, fellowship, service, and parish activities.

Essential Duties include:
• Assisting in Youth Ministry Programs, including Confirmation, Life Teen, and other parish youth activities.
• Planning and assisting with retreats, service opportunities, special events, and faith-centered activities.
• Communicating and working effectively with youth, parents, volunteers, and parish staff and assist with Social Media.
• Recruiting and supporting catechists and volunteers.
• Preparing materials, calendars with events

The right candidate would be a practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic teaching and a desire to work with young people. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in youth ministry, Religious Education, education, or a related area preferred.

A flexible schedule is needed, as evening and weekend availability is required based on parish youth programs and activities.

Director of Faith Formation (K-8)

The Director of Faith Formation is a practicing Catholic who provides leadership and vision for the
parish’s catechetical ministry, forming children and families as disciples of Jesus Christ. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive faith formation program for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The Director fosters a culture of evangelization, supports parents as the primary educators of their children in the faith, and promotes active participation in the sacramental life and mission of the Church.
