AMS Missionary
Archdiocese for the Military Services, US Military Installations around the World

The US military has one of the largest populations of young adults. Created out of a desire to support Catholic chaplains and reach young adult service members, the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) has embarked on a new missionary initiative. The AMS will be sending missionaries to military installations to help form Catholic young adults embrace their faith identity and become true servant leaders. AMS Missionaries will be formed and trained to accompany Catholic military young adults, as they serve around the world, and invite them to grow in discipleship with Jesus. The AMS is officially recruiting missionaries to be a part of this ground-breaking journey.

The person hired for this role will be responsible for ensuring the successful partnership and distribution of course content with Catholic dioceses, parishes, and organizations as well as other church markets. The Content Partnerships Manager serves as the project manager of new course proposals, content review, and ensuring the timely delivery of course assets. This position will provide accompaniment, leadership, and training for parish’s Family Faith Formation from pre-K through 5th grade and collaborative efforts for middle school students and their parents or caregivers. Must be able to work flexible hours with activities running during the day, in the evenings, and on weekend.

Director of Parish Religious Education

Full time Director of Religious Education in a small parish in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington.  Responsible for leading a parish catechetical program  which assists all ages of the parish community in experiencing a rich catechetical experience. Qualifications: BA in Theology/Religious Studies/Religious education preferred. Flexible work schedule which includes some weekends and evenings. Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure. Classroom teaching experience a plus. Position begins September 15.
